For web applications, our wireframes go a step further. Before we place a single field on a screen, we first clarify the data behind it.
What data comes in, and through which channels? What type of data is it? Can it be split, combined or filtered? Who sees what, and which roles have which permissions? Do customers see different pricing than internal users? Which actions trigger emails, notifications or automated processes?
Working with APIs? We dive into those first. We need to understand the API before we define the structure. That way we build on facts, not assumptions.
By the end of this phase, you know exactly what will be built. And we have a solid foundation to develop from.
