Website for education and knowledge sharing
Complex information, multiple target groups, and a strong substantive mission: for KCD, the website mainly had to bring clarity. We translated their role as a knowledge and training center into a digital environment that provides structure, inspires confidence, and encourages learning and sharing.
Impact
The previous website was content-rich, but difficult to navigate. Trainings were scattered, information was text-heavy, and it was not always clear what KCD stands for. With a thoughtful UX approach, we brought clarity to that complexity. At a glance, you can now see the mission of KCD, with trainings, publications, and knowledge sharing each in a logical, recognizable place.
Users
The site targets students, caregivers, experts, and organizations in Flanders. We designed a clear information structure with clear entry points for each theme, so users can quickly find what is relevant to their practice. Trainings and knowledge content were grouped by topic, making it easier to delve into and compare.

Result
The result is a user-friendly and forward-looking website that supports KCD in what they do: inform, sensitize, and connect. Training courses are easy to find and manage, with a smooth registration and payment flow. Technical challenges - such as fully booked courses, different rates per user, and online payments - have been seamlessly integrated. Users also get a personal profile where they can easily find their completed courses and e-learnings.
